Farhan Akhtar is not only an actor but also an acclaimed director. He will soon be directing two interesting projects one is Jee Le Zaraa. The movie is about to feature Bollywood’s three most loved actresses – Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra Jonas. Reportedly the film is now on hold and Farhan Akhtar is moving on to his next project with Aamir Khan.
Farhan Akhtar’s directorial Jee Le Zaraa delayed
Recently, Pinkvilla reported the recent development of Jee Le Zaraa. Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra Jonas have busy schedules, and the movie is going to be on hold. The story of Jee Le Zaara will revolve around three girls on a road trip.
The source stated, “Jee Le Zara is a film close to the hearts of Farhan, Zoya, and everyone at Excel Entertainment. Despite repeated attempts to jump-start the film, things are falling through due to date issues. Even Farhan Akhtar is completely cooperating with the leads and not pressuring anybody. Instead, Farhan has renewed his schedule which will prioritize acting in a film first. A call on the prospects of Jee Le Zara will be taken once all three leads have a common date for the shoot. There could be some changes in the casting as well.”
Farhan Akhtar to move on this next project with Aamir Khan
The source also seemed to confirm that Farhan is moving on to take up his next project. He will now move his focus to acting. Spilling the beans, the source revealed that Farhan Akhtar has signed on for Aamir Khan’s remake of Campeones. The source claimed, “Farhan and Aamir are best of friends, and recently when Aamir discussed Campeones with Farhan, he was game for it. Both Aamir and Farhan have similar creative headspace and are targeting to take the film on floors by October this year.” Campeones will be directed by RS Prassana.
Farhan Akhtar made his directorial debut with Aamir Khan starrer Dil Chahta Hai which also stars Saif Ali Khan and Akshaye Khanna.
While Jee Le Zaraa was supposed to go on floors this November, the movie is put on hold for now. But, it gets only more exciting with Farhan Akhtar making his come back as a director for Don 3.
