Is Kanika Dhillon dating Swara Bhasker’s ex-beau Himanshu Sharma? Here’s what we know

Last year in August, screenwriter Kanika Dhillon had confirmed separation from her filmmaker husband Prakash Kovelamudi. The latest reports suggest that Kanika has found love again in National award-winning writer Himanshu Sharma. Now isn’t that exciting news? Read on to know the details of their alleged relationship.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, the ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’ writer Kanika Dhillon is dating ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ writer Himanshu Sharma.

While the alleged lovebirds are yet to confirm the reports of dating, their common friend Garima Arora (Founder of Entourage Films) shared their picture on her Insta stories and without a doubt, it took the internet by storm. And as they say, a picture speaks a thousand words. Also, Garima captioned the picture as “These Two” alongside a heart emoji. Now isn’t that enough to know what she was hinting at?

While Kanika was previously married to Prakash Kovelamudi, Himanshu was dating Swara Bhasker. Apparently they broke up last year in July. It was speculated that Swara wanted to marry while Himanshu had no such plans and hence they decided to part ways.

Earlier while talking about her break-up, Swara had told Pinkvilla, “One person wants to go right and the other person wants to go left and then one of those people has to say, ‘okay, I will leave my direction and I will come with you.’ But if neither person wants to leave their direction then you just have to say goodbye and maybe agree that itna hi tha humara journey.”

On the work front, Kanika has films like ‘Kedarnath’, Judgemental Hai Kya, and ‘Manmarziyaan’ to her credit. Whereas Himanshu has frequently collaborated with director Aanand L Rai. They have worked together in films like ‘Raanjhanaa’ and the ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ series, ‘Zero’ and ‘Atrangi Re’.

While Kanika and Himanshu are yet to respond to these rumours but if reports of their romance turn out to be true then their fans will be the one celebrating their relationship.
