Karan Johar to team up with Kartik Aaryan for a movie? Filmmaker REVEALS

Karan Johar is not just basking in the success of his directorial Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani but is also cherishing the glorious response over first episode of Koffee With Karan Season 8. As the first episode was quite worthwhile to watch, the filmmaker has definitely amped the excitement for his lineup of projects. Now, Karan Johar has opened up about working with Kartik Aaryan. He has revealed if he is teaming up with the SatyaPrem Ki Katha actor.

Karan Johar speaks about teaming up with Kartik Aaryan

Speaking with Pinkvilla, the ace filmmaker Karan Johar spilled the beans on a potential teamup with Kartik Aaryan. He mentioned that they were supposed to collaborate on a project. However, it did not work our for a various reasons. He shared, “Kartik and I nearly made a film and then for various reasons it couldn’t happen. But you never say never. And I am sure the future holds something very strong for both of us.”

Not only this, Karan Johar was also asked about the possibility of Dostana 2. Responding to this, Karan said, “We don’t know about Dostana but we’ll make something. That film will hopefully be defining for both of us.” He added, “I just hope we can collaborate very soon and on a film that we’re both equally excited about.”

On the workfront, Kartik Aaryan is gearing up for his upcoming movie Chandu Champion with Kabir Khan. The actor keeps sharing updates about the movie on his Instagram handle.

On the other hand, Karan Johar hosted the first episode of Koffee With Karan Season 8. It was graced by Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. On this note, his much-anticipated show streams on Disney+Hotstar.
