Is Prabhas dating his Adipurush co-star Kriti Sanon? Deets inside

Recently, when Kriti Sanon made an appearance on Koffee With Karan 7, there was a lot of discussion on the actress’ relationship status. While she admitted to being single at the moment, host Karan Johar and co-guest Tiger Shroff seemed quite interested in setting her up with actor Aditya Roy Kapur. Even she admitted to having some flirtatious text exchanges with the actor, adding fuel to the already lit fire. But if the recent reports are something to go by, the reality seems to be quite different as Kriti Sanon reportedly might be seeing the pan-Indian superstar Prabhas.

Prabhas and Kriti are starring in Om Raut’s pan-Indian period saga, Adipurush, which is an adaptation of the Hindu epic Ramayana. And according to a report in Bollywood Life, it was on the sets of the film that the actors’ romance bloomed. A source told the portal, “Kriti Sanon and Prabhas have bonded extremely well since day one on the sets. Everyone was surprised that how shy guy Prabhas is openly talking to Kriti and is so indulged in the conversation with her. There is something special about friendship that has been started but it is too early to jump the gun as it seems like they both are going very slow until they confirm anything to the world.”

The source further added, “Prabhas and Kriti loved to spend time with each other on sets. They are creatively also so much involved in their first film together and they take each other’s approval if the scene was good and either one of them wants to reshoot it. Despite wrapping up the film months ago their bond is still intact. They never fail to make a call or message to each other and this only proves that they have this mutual admiration for each other but calling it a relationship will be too quick. Well, it is common for co-stars to be linked up while they are shooting their films or even promoting them together, but Kriti and Prabhas are different. They indeed have a strong feeling for each other and only want it to get processed naturally and not rush.”

Adipurush features Prabhas as Lord Ram and Kriti Sanon as Goddess Sita, while Saif Ali Khan plays Lankesh in the film. The recent reports also suggest that the team of Adipurush is set to kick off the promotions for the film from October 3 in Ayodhya, and it will have a detailed large-scale three month campaign before the film hits theatres worldwide on January 12, 2023.

The film is one of the most awaited projects in the coming times and this news has just made the wait for it all the more exciting. On her appearance at Koffee With Karan, Kriti had dialed Prabhas in the ‘Hey Karan, it’s me’ segment, and the actor answered it immediately. The audience is now even seeing that with a new perspective as these new reports are out. Whether it is all true or not, that will only be found out with time but it is for sure that the two indeed make a powerful duo, be it on screen or off it.
