Salman Khan in Karan Johar’s ‘Shuddhi’ ?

Bollywood’s famous filmmaker Karan Johar has at last found a leading man for his magnum opus Shuddhi. It is none other than Salman Khan. Ever since Hrithik Roshan exited Karan Johar’s Shuddhi citing health concerns and Kareena Kapoor followed suit. The next choise for the leading pair was Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, but they picked up Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani instead.

As per sources, a few days back, Karan drove to Salman Khan’s Bandra residence with the script of ‘Shuddhi’. And the long meeting ended on a positive note. “Salman loved the story but they have yet to discuss dates and money. Karan has wanted to cast Salman for years. It could finally happen.The modalities are being worked out now.”

Karan Johar almost exclusively worked with Shah Rukh Khan for years though Salman had made a special appearance in Karan’s directorial debut Kuch Kuch Hota Hai in ’98. Even the industry has been abuzz with news of a Salman-KJo collaboration for the past two weeks.
