Salman Khan’s super duper hit ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ is all set to premier on October 10 on Television. But a plaintiff has requested the Bombay Hight Court to put a stay order on the release of the movie on TV. Declining the reuqest on the release of the film on tv, a Hight Court judge has said that proceeds of the film should be kept separately until the matter was decided.
Plaintiff, Mahim Joshi, had filed a suit against the makers of Bajrangi Bhaijaan, pleading that he had written the story and also had it registeered with the Film Writers Association. When he saw the Salman Khan starrer he realised that his story had been plagiarised. The plaintiff further added that he wants credit and suitable compensation from the makers.
Judge Gautam Patel said that stay order will not be applied on the reelase of the film on Indian Televison but the proceedings of the Kabir Khan directorial will be kept aside during the pending of the notice of motion taken in the suit. The hearings will be further come up on October 20.
