SS Rajamouli’s magnum-opus RRR directed by SS Rajamouli starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR recently released in the theatres on March 25th and in its first three days it has set the record of the second-biggest start of all time at the Indian box office. The movie also stars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn. But did you Katrina Kaif’s sister Isabelle Kaif was earlier approached for the film, however she turned it down.
According to a source in India Today, Isabelle was asked to essay the role of the foreigner, who in in the film is seen as Jr NTR’s love interest, but, she rejected the offer because she wanted the script and details of the movie. This turned to be Olivia Morris’s gain, as later she played the role as Jennifer, Bheem’s love interest.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Isabelle made her acting debut in the Bollywood industry with Time To Dance, which featured Sooraj Pancholi, and Waluscha De Sousa in the lead roles. Directed by Stanley D’Costa. Produced by Lizelle D’Souza, it was theatrically released in India on 12 March 2021.
Next, the actress will also be seen in Kwatha with Aayush Sharma. It is said to be a film inspired by true events involving the Indian Army, helmed by Karan Bhutani. She also has Suswagatam Khushaamadeed co-starring Pulkit Samrat. It is about spreading the message of social harmony.
Coming back to RRR, it is set in 1920, the film is based on two freedom fighters – Komaram Bheem (Rama Rao) and Alluri Seetharamaraju (Ram Charan) who fought against the British Raj and Nizam of Hyderabad respectively. The movie also stars Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody.
