‘Khaali Peeli’ Trailer: Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Panday’s mad ride is full of life-threatening risks

The wait is finally over as the makers of Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Panday’s ‘Khaali Peeli’ have finally dropped the much-anticipated trailer of the film. Packed with high octane action sequences, the trailer instantly grabs attention as we get introduced to Ishaan and Ananya’s characters and their refreshing chemistry. While Ishaan (Blackie) and Ananya (Pooja) play star crossed lovers, who finally meet after several years, it’s actor Jaideep Ahlawat who’s introduced as the villain.

Portraying the role of Yusuf, Ahlawat looks promising and is already getting hailed as the Hindi cinema’s new baddie. Right from film’s lead stars to intense stunts, combined with some gorgeous backdrops of the Mumbai city, ‘Khaali Peeli’ trailer has all the ingredients of a mass entertainer. Both Ishaan and Ananya are running away from Ahlawat and their mad ride is full of life-threatening risks. Will they survive it? Now that happens to be the crux of the film.

Maqbool Khan has brought together different and talented actors together in one frame in this film. A young, masala Bollywood film with an ode the Mumbai of the ’90s, ‘Khaali Peeli’ undoubtedly appears to be exciting but it has to be seen what new it has to offer to the audience or whether it lives up to our expectations.

Helmed by Maqbool Khan, ‘Khaali Peeli’ is produced by Himanshu Kishan Mehra, Ali Abbas Zafar and Zee Studios. It’s going to release on  October 2, 2020, on Zee Plex.
