Ishaan Khatter ‘cried like a baby’ after watching mother Neelima Azeem in ‘Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare’

Bhumi Pednekar and Konkona Sen Sharma’s ‘Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare’ released on Netflix. It also has Neelima Azeem who appeared for one scene. Ishaan Khatter ‘cried like a baby’ after watching his mother on screen.

Ishaan shared a clip of his mom from the movie and wrote, “I saw my mother on screen today in #dollykittyaurwohchamaktesitare. You are beautiful as ever mom. Such intricacy and delicateness. Such humaneness. I can’t explain what watching this single scene did to me. I cried like a baby after watching it. It’s always lovely to see wonderful people coming together for a film but this time it’s personal. My mother made an appearance for one scene and moved me to tears. Best of luck and congratulations on the release to the entire team of the film (sic).”

He also wished good luck to the entire team of ‘Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare’ as he wrote, “Best of luck and congratulations on the release to the entire team of the film”.

Neelima is the first wife of Pankaj Kapur. They got married in 1975 and had their son, Shahid Kapoor in 1981. They separated in 1984. Pankaj then married Supriya Pathak and Neelima tied the knot with Rajesh Khatter in 1990. Ishaan was born to them in 1995. Neelima and Rajesh parted ways in 2001.
