Pippa teaser: Ishaan Khatter, Mrunal Thakur starrer gives a glimpse of India’s deadliest war- WATCH

On the occasion of the 75th Independence Day, actors Ishaan Khatter and Mrunal Thakur, also starring Priyanshu Painyuli and Soni Razdan, have shared the teaser of Pippa on social media. The teaser gives us a glimpse of India’s deadliest war, the time when Pakistan attacked India and former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi declared war against the country. In the teaser video, we get to see how the Indian army gears up for the war with the country.

Sharing the teaser on Instagram, Ishaan Khatter mentioned that he and his team have put in a lot of effort and he feels honoured to represent the valour and bravery of our defence forces. He wrote, “PIPPA in cinemas December 2nd, 2022. On the momentous occasion of our country’s 75th Independence Day – presenting a glimpse from a film, we’ve collectively put our heart, gut and soul into it. May our soil, our people and our culture be blessed always. It’s been an honour to represent the valour and bravery of our defence forces More to come.” 

On the other hand, Mrunal wrote, “With a great sense of pride, on this 75th Independence Day, we unveil the teaser of #Pippa An action-packed war drama that brings to life the valour of our soldiers who fought the historic 1971 India-Pakistan war! Releasing in the cinemas on 2nd December 2022.”

For the unversed, inspired by true events and the war memoir ‘The Burning Chaffees,’ written by Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta, Pippa tells the story of three siblings set against the backdrop of the action-packed 48-hour-long Battle of Garibpur. It tells us a story of Captain Mehta rising to the occasion and leading his troops, and nation, to victory.

Pippa is to release on  2nd December 2022.
