‘Ishaqzaade’ pair Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra to team up again?

Five years back, Arjun Kapoor had successfully made his debut with ‘Ishaqzaade’, and we were introduced to this unconventional and intense hero. The film was loved by all and one of the many reasons for the same was Arjun’s crackling chemistry with his co-star Parineeti Chopra. Well, guess what? We have a good news for you. According to a report in a leading tabloid, both Arjun and Parineeti are all set to reunite on the big screen yet again for filmmaker Dibakar Banerjee’s next project.

A source close to the film has quoted to the tabloid, “Arjun had loved the script and given his nod but had not signed on the dotted line. Dibakar was still working on the final draft and wanted Parineeti as the leading lady. Reportedly, Arjun Kapoor will be seen playing the role of a Haryanvi police inspector in the film, whereas Parineeti’s character will be a far cry from her girl-next-door image.

The movie will be set in North India and is set to be a dark and gritty one. The shooting of the same will start around mid-2017, as quoted by the source.

However, an official confirmation on the same is awaited. Well, we can’t wait to see the ‘Ishaqzaade’ couple back on screens.
