Ismail Darbar spills the beans on son Zaid and Gauahar Khan’s marriage plans

Actress Gauahar Khan is dating dance choreographer and social media influencer Zaid Darbar. Zaid is the son of veteran music composer Ismail Darbar. While rumours surrounding their marriage abound, Ismail has finally opened up about these reports. He also revealed that his family is very fond of Gauahar and that she asked for their blessings before entering the ‘Bigg Boss 14’ house.

In an interview with Times of India, Ismail talking about his last meeting with his son’s girlfriend said, “Gauahar was with us for nearly 4 hours; we had a biryani dinner together. My son Zaid has told me that they are serious about each other. I have absolutely no objection.”

“As a father, I did tell him once that she is 5 years older to him and make sure that this is real love before you take the plunge into matrimony. My son seems sure. And from the time, Gauahar spent with us, I can assure you that she takes immense care of him. Besides, my wife Ayesha has a knack of knowing if a person is genuine after she talks to him/her; she has found Gauahar genuine,” he added further.

Commenting on rumours of the couple’s plans to get tie the knot by end of this year, Ismail and his wife Ayesha said, “We haven’t discussed any dates. But yes, if Zaid and Gauahar decide for tomorrow or after six months or even today, we are ready for whatever they want. Our happiness lies in their happiness.”

Zaid is Ismail’s son from his first marriage to Farzana. Zaid is very close to his step-mom Ayesha and the entire Darbar family is happy about his relationship with Gauahar.

Well, now we just can’t wait to see these lovebirds take the plunge. Meanwhile, Gauahar is locked inside the ‘Bigg Boss’ house as one of the Seniors. She is expected to be out of the house soon as now a new batch of contestants is expected to enter the show.
