Ismail Darbar’s son Zaid and actress Gauahar Khan are tying the knot today. The wedding festivities had started a couple of days back. Yesterday, there was a mehendi ceremony in presence of their families and close friends. Both the Darbars and Khans are elated.
Zaid’s father and music composer Ismail Darbar crooned ‘Tadap Tadap Ke’ song from ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ film. The song was composed by Ismail for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film. Ismail was accompanied by his wife. Zaid and Gauahar also joined them on stage. The guests cheered for Ismail’s performance.

But a section of netizens didn’t find the song appropriate to be sung at the wedding. One wrote, “Who sings this song on a shaadi? LOL” while one commented, “Shaadi hai ya break up?” It was because it is a heartbreaking song.

Coming back to Zaid and Gauahar, there are only a few hours left for them to be man and wife. The couple is on cloud nine. Gauahar has even shared a glimpse of her wedding outfit on her Instagram Stories.
Earlier, sharing the news of her wedding, Gauahar wrote, “The year 2o2o has been anything but ordinary and our love story through it all has been nothing short of extraordinary! It gives us immense joy to announce that we are tying the knot and embarking on a new journey forever!”
