It is Salman VS Aishwarya on EID 2018. Does this clash make any sense?

Every year, the festival of Eid is associated with Salman Khan movies. Nobody dares to even clash with him during that time of the year. But now things seem to be changing as next year on Eid, Salman Khan’s ‘Race 3’ will clash with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anil Kapoor-starrer ‘Fanney Khan’. Can’t believe it? So do we! Considering the fact that Salman and Aishwarya Rai share a bitter past, this clash is going to be interesting to witness.

Apparently, the producers of ‘Fanney Khan’ had consulted their lead actors before finalising on the release date. Producers Kapoor and Kumar released a joint statement saying, “We have locked the release date of ‘Fanney Khan’ on Eid 2018 (June 15). We decided on Eid because of the lead character Fanney Khan, played by Anil Kapoor, is a Muslim character and there’s no better day than Eid [to release it].”

The movie’s shoot with Aishwarya and Anil Kapoor are almost complete and now the team awaits Rajkummar Rao to get back on the sets post his fracture. (Also Read: Fanney Khan: An accident leaves a crew member injured on the sets)

On location pictures of both ‘Race 3’ and ‘Fanney Khan’ have been setting the internet on fire. Will this clash be avoided? Eid release is synonymous with Salman Khan and die-hard fans of Bhai will make sure that this one is a hit. Will the makers of ‘Fanney Khan’ bow out or be adamant on this clash? Only time will tell.
