It was Ileana D’Cruz’s idea to drop the jacket in ‘Baadshaho’

Beautiful actress Ileana D’Cruz is gearing up for the release of her next Bollywood film ‘Baadshaho’ that also stars Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Esha Gupta and Vidyut Jammwal in the lead. Ileana would be seen essaying the role of a Maharani in this film, who falls in love with the character of Ajay Devgn. The chemistry between the two is quite intense. The song ‘Rashke Qamar’ is the proof of their intense bond. There is one scene in particular that speaks volumes about the passion that they share and that is when Ileana drops her jackets and goes semi-nude. We see her bare back in the scene. Supposedly, this scene is Ileana’s brainchild.

In her recent interview with Bombay Times, the actress has revealed that it was her idea to drop the jacket to show the intimacy and trust between the two. “I have never done such scenes in my career, but I am not a prude who says no to kissing scenes or wearing certain clothes. I will do what makes sense to the script and the character. The idea of dropping the jacket was mine. I never thought I’d come up with that. The story needed a moment of intimacy where she could show how much she trusted him and how much of herself she could give him. As soon as the shot was okayed, Ajay shielded me until someone came over with a jacket. It makes it so much easier to work with people who you can implicitly trust. It isn’t an offensive scene and it wasn’t planned. It came up last minute and worked.,” she said.
