It’s a baby boy! Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli welcome second child, couple name their son Akaay

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli recently took to Instagram and announced the arrival of their baby boy, Akaay. The couple revealed that their daughter Vamika’s little brother came into the world on February 15.

The couple’s note read, “With abundant happiness and our hearts full of love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on 15th February, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay & Vamika’s little brother into this world. We seek your blessings and good wishes in this beautiful time in our lives. We request you to kindly respect our privacy at this time. Love & Gratitude, Virat & Anushka.”

There have been reports of Anushka and Virat expecting their second baby for quite some time now. Fans are beyond happy that the couple has finally welcomed their second child. Virat and Anushka tied the knot in 2017 in Italy. In 2021, the couple became parents to a beautiful daughter, Vamika.

On the work front, Anushka will be seen in Prosit Roy’s Chakda Xpress which will release on Netflix. The upcoming film is based on the life of former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami.
