It’s confirmed: Ajay Devgn’s ‘Golmaal Again’ to clash with Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar’s ‘2.0’

Soon after the announcement of Rohit Shetty’s ‘Golmaal Again‘, the makers have decided on a Diwali 2017 release for the movie. It was then that the makers of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar-starrer ‘2.0’ too finalised their release during the festival weekend.

This is when it was said that Rohit Shetty might now push his release to 2018 to not clash with the superstar. But now, according to a popular tabloid, ‘Golmaal Again’ has finalised its release on Diwali and will definitely clash with ‘2.0’. Speaking of the same, Shibasish Sarkar, Chief Operating Officer of Reliance Entertainment, who are also the co-producers of ‘Golmaal Again’ said, “‘Golmaal Again’ is one of the most successful franchises of the Indian film industry, has created huge curiosity and demand among the exhibitors and distributors of the country. On their demand, we decided on a wide-scale release in the Diwali weekend of 2017, the festival period being apt for families and children.”

The film, directed by Rohit Shetty, features Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade and Kunal Kemmu along with some new additions from the previous franchises including Parineeti Chopra, Tabu and Neil Nitin Mukesh.

The cast is currently shooting for the second schedule of the film in Hyderabad, soon after which, they will be headed to Ooty for the third schedule.
