It’s Confirmed! Amitabh Bachchan to star in Siddharth Anand’s ‘Badlaa’

It was an year back that Siddharth Anand had announced his next venture, ‘Badlaa‘ and the film went through a lot of changes since its announcement.

The movie will be made under KriArj Entertainment and Zee Studios and was initially to star Sanjay Dutt and Kriti Sanon in the lead. But recent reports suggest something different. Siddharth has now replaced Sanjay with Amitabh Bachchan and is to choose between Disha Patani and Kriti Sanon for the female lead.

Siddharth, who earlier helmed ‘Bang Bang’ recently narrated the script to the Amitabh, who also liked it.

The shooting for the film was to kick start in July 2016, but kept getting postponed and Sanjay had to step out of it citing creative differences. The actor found the story of the film too advanced for the Indian audience.

The story of ‘Badlaa’ revolves around an older man and younger woman.
