It’s official : Asin is now a happily married lady!

Ghajini actress Asin Thottumkal has tied the knot with her beau Rahul Sharma co-founder of Micromax. They had a church wedding that was attended by around 50 close friends and family members at Dusit Devrana resort. For the Christian wedding a makeshift church was created in the hotel premises itself. After the nuptials, the guests had a vegetarian luncheon along with a  special 10-tier vanilla-flavoured cake that was designed for the occasion.

Later in the evening the couple will be having a traditional Hindu marriage too at the same premises. A mandap is being erected on a water body for the Hindu ceremony at night here.  Akshay Kumar too is expected to attend the events, he will be the best man at the wedding. The Khiladi who is a good friend of the couple was the one who had introduced them to each other.

The function that is being held at Delhi is only for close friends and family whereas the couple will later host a reception in Mumbai on January 23, that will be attended by the cream of Bollywood.
