Filmmaker Kundan Shah took his last breath this morning. He was aged 69. The filmmaker suffered a massive cardiac arrest.
Shah’s 1983 film ‘Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro’ yet enjoys being a cult addition to Hindi cinema. His other remarkable films include ‘Kabhi Haan Kabhi Haan’, ‘Khamosh’ , ‘Kya Kehna’, and ‘Dil Hai Tumhara’.
The widely admired TV series ‘Nukkad’ that aired on DD National was also directed by him.
Director Milap Zaveri took to Twitter to mourn the death of Shah and wrote, “RIP Kundan Shah. #JaaneBhiDoYaaron was a classic. #KabhiHaanKabhiNaa is one of my fav films ever. May u Keep the heavens entertained”.
