Imran made his debut with Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na co-starring Genelia Deshmukh. Later, he appeared in films like I Hate Luv Storys, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Ek Main Aur Ekk Ru, Luck, Matru Ki Bijliee Ka Mandola, and Break Ke Baad. He went on a break after the failure of Katti Batti.
