Bollywood actor Jaaved Jaaferi took it upon himself to given a piece of his mind to a troll who indirectly asked him to leave the country. Jaaved has been speaking up against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and he is getting a lot of backlash because of it.
Jaaved took to his Twitter account to share a link that spoke about a resolution moved in Europe against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). He shared the article and wrote, “Resolution moved in Europe against CAA (sic).” But not many like this tweet of his. Someone wrote that he should move to Europe, “Why don’t you move to Europe. We don’t need traitors in our nation (sic).”
To this Jaaved had a very befitting reply, as she told the troll that she does not own country, “YOUR nation ??? Kab kharida aapne ma’m ?? ? Last time I read the constitution it spoke of democracy, equality and right to dissent..
Wouldn’t know if you have made any changes privately though..kindly update (sic).”

Former Member of Parliament and BJP leader Narendra Swaikar also replied on Jaaved’s tweet, he wrote, “Clap Mr. Jaaved. How does it matter? Hope you are aware we are independent, sovereign Republic. Indians will do whatever that is in their interest & the nation.” To this too Jaaved had a very apt reply as he said that he was very much aware of the combined damage that CAA and NRC can do.
sir if international perceptions of India don’t ‘matter’thn why ws respected pm travelling all over the world trying to convince them to invest in India ? Am very much aware of what India is and what damage CAA combined with NRC can do to its constitutional foundation.

Jaaved has been actively participating in anti-CAA movements and protests in Mumbai and it clearly shows that he does not agree with it at all.
