Jacqueline Fernandez questioned by the ED for over five hours in Delhi; Report

Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez, who is currently busy promoting her upcoming film Bhoot Police in full swing has come under the scanner of the Enforcement Directorate (ED). She was interrogated in Delhi. As per the reports, Jacqueline is being quizzed by the ED in a money laundering case. The report mentioned that the actor’s questioning has apparently been going on for over five hours. Jacqueline’s Bhoot Police co-star Yami Gautam was also summoned by the ED in the money laundering case. 

ANI made a tweet on Twitter. The tweet reads: “Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez has come under the scanner of the Enforcement Directorate (ED). She was interrogated in Delhi.(sic)”

Jacqueline is yet to release a statement on the matter. The details of her ongoing interrogation are awaited. 

It was only recently when Jacqueline Fernandez made it to the news after she shifted to her new Mumbai apartment. The plush property was previously owned by Priyanka Chopra Jonas. Jacqueline lived in a rented space before he purchased a new home. 

As per reports in a section of the media, Yami Gautam was summoned after it was suspected that she made some foreign monetary transactions of about Rs 1.5 crore using her private bank account. Reportedly, the Uri: The Surgical Strike actress hid the details of her transactions from the authorities.

Work-wise, Jacqueline is currently busy promoting her upcoming film Shoot Police. The film even stars Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, and Yami Gautam. It is scheduled to release on September 17, 2021, on Disney+ Hotstar. The actress has film Attack with John Abraham, the next installment of Kick with Salman Khan, Cirkus with Ranveer Singh and Pooja Hegde, and Akshay Kumar’s Ram Setu and Bachchan Panday.
