Jacqueline Fernandez wooed everyone with her pole dance in a song titled ‘Chandralekha’ from ‘A Gentleman’. Not just in the song, the actress uploaded quite a few videos on her social media handles showing off her pole dancing skills. On boy! The actress has surely mastered this dance form. But whispers are being heard in tinsel town that despite Jacqueline’s hard work, the pole dancing we see in the song is just half of what was shot.
As per reports, the makers apparently chopped a certain section of her pole dance so that they do not run in trouble with Censor Board. A source has revealed to DNA, “Jackie trained a lot to get every move right, and by the time the team shot the song, she was as good as a pro. But only a portion of it has been retained in the song. The rest has been edited out. The team wanted to make a clean film. They wanted to avoid all the trouble with the Censor Board, and decided to cut the song on their own.” (Also Read: Sizzling dance numbers of Jacqueline Fernandez that are too hot to handle)
We don’t know whether it is true, but if yes, then it is sad! Censor Board has become a trouble for every filmmaker, thanks to its over-the-top scrutiny. The makers of ‘A Gentleman’ seem to be in no mood to take any risk.
‘A Gentleman’ stars Sidharth Malhotra opposite Jacqueline Fernandez. He would be seen essaying a double role in this film. Directed by Raj & DK, the film is slated to release on August 25.
