Jaideep Ahlawat pens an emotional note after visiting Irrfan Khan’s family: Felt like I was home

Actor Irrfan Khan, passed away in 2020 after his battle with cancer. With his demise, Bollywood lost one of its finest actors. His works are still remembered by fans and celebs. More often we see many of his peers sharing posts for the late actor. Actor Jaideep Ahlawat recently visited Irrfan’s place and after meeting his family, he penned a heartfelt note.

The Paatal Lok actor shared pics from his visit. In one of the images, the actor is seen sitting on the floor of the house surrounded by mangoes. Jaideep Ahlawat is also seen posing with a photo of the late actor. He also shared a pic of the book – Irrfan: Dialogues With The Wind, written by filmmaker Anup Singh.

Sharing the pics, Jaideep wrote, “Dada, aap ne jo ped lagaye the woh phal dene lage hai. (Brother, the trees you have planted have started bearing fruits).”

Jaideep also shared a picture of a note written on the first page of the above mentioned book, and it was apparently gifted to him by Irrfan’s family. The note read: “28th June, 22. To Jaideep, may you always shine and have the wind in your wings. Be the change. Blessings and love always.” It was signed by “Sutapa Irrfan Babil Ayaan.”

The actor continued his note, “Thank you so so much, Sutapa Sikdar ma’am for everything…I felt like I was home. We see you soon bro, Babil Khan. Love you.”
