‘Jalebi’ actress Digangana Suryavanshi opened up about how she had to face people with dual perceptions owing to her choice of profession. While the other kids in the school were just confined to playing and other extra curriculum activities, Digangana was already the talk of the town back then.
Talking about how the teachers and other people asked her parents to just let her focus on acting whereas Digangana proved everyone wrong by striking a perfect balance between both. “I dealt with two types of people in my school. And even back in my school, there were teachers who appreciated me but on the contrary, there were people who said that now she is into acting so she should only do that. But my parents literally had to write it down that my daughter is managing her studies too and is good at her academics. So what I mean is, people had a dual perception about me back then and my overall personality.”

Furthermore, the actress also talked about the anticipatory feeling people had about her plainly owing to her reserved nature, The actress says “I clearly remember back then there, were some section of people who came to me and complimented me and said all sorts of good things. But some had a pre-conceived notion of me being arrogant just because I used to act back then. And that pre-conceived emotion is still there amongst a lot of people. People have an opinion even before they start talking to me. People would talk behind your back anyway and you can’t convince everybody.”
On the work front, the 22-year-old starlet is all set to star in the Telugu sports drama ‘Seetimaarr’. The film also stars Gopichand.
