Janhvi Kapoor channels her inner Umrao Jaan as she gracefully performs a Kathak act, Watch

Janhvi Kapoor has often showcased her dancing skills in videos shared on Instagram. The actress has shared several videos of her dancing and performing Kathak. She has shared videos of her gracefully performing a Kathak act on Bollywood classics. Janhvi Kapoor took to her Instagram on Sunday to share a throwback dance video. In the video, the Good Luck Jerry actress performs to a classic Bollywood number once performed by actress Rekha. She channels her inner Umrao Jaan as she grooves to the Rekha song.

The video shows Janhvi dressed in a white and blue printed cotton Anarkali suit. She shared the video to celebrate World Dance Day. Kapoor shared the video and mentioned its two years old. She mentioned it was from one of her first Baithaki Bhav, a part of the dance form Kathak. The video shows Janhvi Kapoor performing Kathak to the Rekha song In Ankhon Ki Masti from the 1981 movie titled Umrao Jaan.

Sharing the video, the Good Luck Jerry actress wrote, “#tb to 2 years ago, one of my first बैठकी भाव attempts. Miss it Happy international dance day everyone! Even though I’m 2 days late (sic).”

On the work front, Kapoor has the movie Good Luck Jerry in her kitty. She is currently busy shooting for her movie with Varun Dhawan. The actress is filming Bawaal with Varun and director Nitesh Tiwari. Janhvi also has the movie titled Mr and Mrs Mahi with Rajkummar Rao. She was last seen in the film Roohi opposite Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma.
