Rambo: Janhvi Kapoor joins Tiger Shroff as his leading lady- Report

Tiger Shroff and Janhvi Kapoor are two of the most sought-after leading faces in this generation. While they haven’t yet worked together, their pairing has come in consideration a couple of times. And seems like after some unsuccessful attempts, the duo is finally teaming up

Janhvi Kapoor joins Tiger Shroff in Rambo

According to a report in Pinkvilla, Siddharth Anand has brought Janhvi on board as the leading lady opposite Tiger in Rambo. The Rohit Dhawan directorial was announced back in 2017 as an Indian adaptation of the Hollywood classic by the same name. However since then, there hasn’t been any development on it. But this news hints that maybe things are finally getting in the groove.

A source close to the development revealed, “Tiger and Janhvi are finally working together after several attempts in the past. Janhvi’s character details in Rambo are being kept under wraps at the moment, but she plays a pivotal role crucial to the storyline. Both actors have known each other for years and are excited to finally collaborate professionally.” Tiger and Janhvi were reportedly in consideration to be paired for Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Jagan Shakti’s next. However, neither of them materialised.

Rambo shoot schedule

The report further stated that the film is expected to go on floors by January 2024. Both the actors will complete their prior commitments first before jumping on this project. Rambo will be majorly filmed across Europe on a large scale. Tiger is already an action star, but with this film, Siddharth and Rohit want to take his image to the next level. The actor will undergo rigorous training with global experts for the same. He will also be trained in weaponry and guerrilla warfare.

Tiger’s role is described as the last surviving member of an elite covert unit of the Indian Armed Forces, who returns home to discover a war waging in his own land. Whereas details of Janhvi’s roles are being kept under wraps. The film is eyeing a 2025 release as of now.

Janhvi Kapoor and Tiger Shroff upcoming movies

Both Janhvi and Tiger are running a jam-packed schedule currently. The actress has wrapped up two of her upcoming films- Mr and Mrs Mahi and Ulajh. Post that, she has her South debut film Devara with Jr NTR. She is yet to wrap up the shoot for it. As for Tiger, the actor has the release of Ganapath in October 2023 and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan in April 2024. He is also expected to resume the shoot of Jagan Shakti’s next with Sara Ali Khan soon.
