Janhvi Kapoor on Pulwama attack: Our men didn’t even get the chance to fight for themselves

The entire nation is shaken with the news of the attack in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir on February 14. Politicians, musicians and also Bollywood celebrities voiced their concerns for the CRPF martyrs who lost their lives in the tragic attack. They took to their Twitter handles to share their condolences for the martyrs. From Aamir Khan, Madhuri Dixit to Priyanka Chopra, many celebs shared their grievances and prayers. Today, Janhvi Kapoor took to her Instagram handle to express her grief and prayers for the jawans of our country.

While sharing a couple of pictures from the incident, Janhvi wrote in her post that she feels upset that the jawans ‘didn’t even get the chance to fight for themselves’. She also wrote that ‘these men have been robbed of not just their lives but also the respect that they deserve as protectors of a nation’. Around 44 jawans lost their lives in the attack by terrorist organisation Jaish-e-Mohammed. The group has admitted that they are responsible for the Pulwama attack. Today, a team of National Investigation Agency (NIA) has reached the site of the Pulwama attack for further investigation.
