Janhvi Kapoor reveals when a flustered Boney Kapoor flew to Sridevi in Italy after a guy hit on her

Late actress Sridevi and filmmaker Boney Kapoor were married for over two decades. They were madly in love with each other and an incident shared by daughter Janhvi Kapoor proves the same. Recently, Janhvi Kapoor opened up on an incident when Boney Kapoor flew to Italy when a guy hit on Sridevi

The Good Luck Jerry actor spoke about the time when an Italian man hit on Sridevi while she was there to shop for some furniture and how her father Boney Kapoor rushed to be with her.

In a recent interview with Vogue India, Janhvi Kapoor recounted, “Mum went to Italy to shop for furniture for this home (their Chennai home), and some Italian guy hit on her. She was travelling with a friend, and was shell-shocked and exclaimed, ‘How dare he talk to me?’”

She added, “As a joke, her friend told dad, who got so flustered, he left Khushi and me behind in Mumbai to fly to Italy to be with her. They ended up having a little honeymoon there.”

Late actress Sridevi Sridevi was one of the leading Hindi film actors of the 80s and 90s.She tied the knot with filmmaker Boney Kapoor in 1996. It was Boney’s second marriage and Sridevi’s first. Boney and Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi was born in 1997, and Khushi Kapoor in 2000. The actress passed away at the age of 54 in Dubai.

On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor was last seen in Mili, a remake of the Malayalam thriller Helen. She will next be seen in Bawaal co-starring Varun Dhawan. The actress also has Mr And Mrs Mahi, which is touted to be a sports drama, in her kitty.
