Janhvi Kapoor reveals how she deals with creepy guys; confesses, “I have an antenna for male chauvinists”

Janhvi Kapoor, a highly acclaimed and popular actress, has established herself as a significant talent in the film industry. She will be seen romancing Rajkummar Rao in this film. In a recent interview, she candidly discussed her experiences with male chauvinism. Her reflections highlight the ongoing struggle against gender bias, underscoring her resilience and determination to succeed despite such obstacles. 

Janhvi Kapoor on dealing with creepy people

She was asked how she deals with creepy guys and whether she senses such men the Bawaal actress had an interesting answer to give. Janhvi said, “Yeah, I don’t know about creepy, but I have an antenna for male chauvinist and backward-thinking energy, and that pisses me off. Like, I’ve met the wokest person on the planet, and even that person can have double standards without realising it.”

She further added that men can be intimidated by ambitious women, noting that while many claim they want a career-driven partner, truly being okay with it is a different ball game altogether. When quizzed if she had ever ended a relationship for similar reason, Janhvi said, “I guess you could say that, I don’t know.”

The film is helmed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Dharma. She also has Ulajh lined up. Janhvi is set to make her South debut as well alongside Jr NTR in Devara.
