The trailer describes the film as it is set in the backdrop of Europe. Being a romantic drama, the film marks Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan’s pairing for the first time. The trailer starts of in a light hearted way where Janhvi joins the fun along with Varun. However, the second half of the trailer shows Janhvi’s growth as an actor in terms of emotions and the seriousness in delivering dialogues. She has paved the right path in the act of emotional turmoil, heartbreak and love simultaneously. The seriousness of the act is all that is witnessed in the scene portrayed by the actress.

Bawaal is a Nitesh Tiwari directed film which will have an OTT release on Amazon Prime videos on July 21. The film is a romantic drama. The trailer begins with introducing Varun Dhawan as Ajay aka Ajju from Lucknow. Ajjiu is adamant about keeping his reputation high. After meeting Janhvi Kapoor aka Nisha, love blooms between the two and they marry each other. As Ajju takes Nisha ona tour to Europe, the second half of the trailer begins. The trailer consists of a few black and white shots referring to the World War 2. As the trailer proceeds, the relationship between the two seems to fall off when they don’t get along. The scene from the teaser is repeated where the two are seen in a cramped space. However it is not clear how they reach there.
As the trailer refers to the war in physical form, it seems it is also compared to internal war faced by the two in the trailer.
