Janhvi Kapoor is all set to venture into the South film industry and is reportedly making her debut with Jr NTR. The actress will be collaborating with Uppena director Buchi Babu for his upcoming movie and wants Janhvi to essay the female lead in it. The film will reportedly be bankrolled by Pushpa makers Mythri Movie Makers.
The latest reports that are doing rounds on the internet state that the director of the movie feel that the Gunjan Saxena actress will perfectly suit the role and, hence, makers are leaving no stone to negotiate with the actress. However, an official confirmation by Janhvi or the makers is yet to be made, but if these reports turn out to be true, it will be exciting for her fans to witness her amazing performance in the South film.

Previously, during an interview with Film Companion, the Dhadak actress was asking about if she is getting any offers for her debut in the South cinema, to which she said: “I have been speaking to a couple of makers but I have not felt like oh my god, I need to do this.”
Earlier, there were also reports stating that Janhvi will mark her debut in South debut opposite Jr NTR with Trvikiram Srinivas’ film NTR30 and Puri Jagannadh’s film Jana Gana Mana.
On the work front, Janhvi was last seen opposite Rajkummar Rao, Varun Sharma in the comedy horror film Roohi. Next, she will be seen in Karan Johar’s romantic comedy film, Dostana 2 and ensemble period film, Takht. The actress will also feature in Good Luck Jerry, a Hindi adaptation of the 2018 Tamil film Kolamavu Kokila, produced by Aanand L. Rai. Next in Mili produced by her father Boney Kapoor and lastly in Mr & Mrs Mahi.
