Janhvi Kapoor shares glimpses of mother Sridevi’s prayer meet; writes, “Wish u were here”

Janhvi and Boney Kapoor recently attended the prayer meet of Sridevi in Chennai. The father-daughter duo shared memorable times with their family members. Sharing a few pictures from the prayer meet, Janhvi captioned them, “Wish u were here.”

In one of the pictures, Janhvi is seen having a laugh with a few women. She donned a traditional South Indian pink half-sari paired with a golden blouse.

Janhvi also shared a picture of her dad and mom and a childhood picture of Sridevi on her Instagram stories.

Sridevi’s death on February 24, 2018, shook the entire nation. Her death was caused by accidentally drowning in a bathtub in a Dubai hotel. She was with her entire family for Boney’s nephew, Mohit Marwah’s wedding. Her death created a void not only in the family but also in the industry. Sridevi was the first female superstar of Bollywood and her untimely death caused a huge loss.

Coming back to Janhvi, she has recently appeared in ‘Kudi Nu Nachne De’ song from Irrfan Khan’s film ‘Angrezi Medium’. She will be seen in ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’, ‘Roohi Afzana’, ‘Dostana 2’ and ‘Takht’.
