Janhvi Kapoor wants to do a film with her family, quips ‘we’ll have to call it nepotism’

Actor Janhvi Kapoor – daughter of late iconic actor Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor – made her Bollywood debut with Dhadak, bankrolled by Dharma Productions. Since her big Bollywood debut, netizens have been referring to her as a nepotistic kid. However, in a recent interview, Janhvi revealed that she would want to feature in a movie whose title will be ‘nepotism’.

Well, the reason behind keeping this name is that she wants to do a movie that features her entire family. Joking at the thought, Janhvi mentioned that she will call the film nepotism.

The Good Luck Jerry actor told Pinkvilla, “I hope so. I really hope so. The thing is that I think because we are all working so much…touchwood…we are not getting to spend as much time together as a family as I would want us to. And I think the most time I have spent with Papa has been during the shoot of Mili because we were creatively doing something together. So I think the only way now to get the family together is to just do a film, and like cast everyone in the family.”

Janhvi added with a laugh, “Maybe we’ll have to call it nepotism only because it’s all in the family. But yeah, I would love to do a film with him.”

Meanwhile, Janhvi Kapoor made her Bollywood debut in 2018 and now her sister Khushi Kapoor is all set to make her debut with The Archies. Janhvi’s elder brother Arjun Kapoor who is also the son of Boney Kapoor made his entry with Ishaqzaade. Boney’s brother Anil Kapoor’s kids Sonam Kapoor and Harshvarrdhan Kapoor have already forayed into movies. Moreover, Boney’s other brother Sanjay Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya Kapoor is also going to enter the industry with Bedhadak which is bankrolled by Dharma Productions.
