Sridevi Death Anniversary: Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor attend a puja ceremony in Chennai

Today is the first death anniversary of legendary actress Sridevi. It still feels unreal that she is no longer with us. Sridevi passed away under mysterious and tragic circumstances and it was a very tough period for her family and loved ones. Sridevi’s husband Boney Kapoor and daughters Janhvi and Khushi are putting a brave face, but they are missing her big time.

Now, Janhvi, Khushi and Boney Kapoor attended a puja ceremony to mark their respect for the late actress on her first death anniversary. Boney held a puja for his late wife at her maternal house in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Both the sisters were immensely close to their mother and her loss has affected them a lot.

Janhvi Kapoor had a mixed 2018 as on one hand, her debut film ‘Dhadak’ was about to release and then her mother passed away. Janhvi has always looked up to her mother and still gets quite emotional talking about her.

Talking about what her mother advised her before the release of her debut film, Janhvi in one of her previous interviews had said, “Mom said don’t overthink it, just feel it.’ And be honest to what you’re doing, work hard, give it your everything, and just put your head down and keep working. It’s as simple as that; it doesn’t need to be complicated.” Janhvi’s performance in her first film was praised by one and all.
