Janmashtami 2021: Amitabh Bachchan, Rakul Preet Singh and other B-Town celebs extend wishes

Janmashtami or Krishna Janmashtami marks the birthday of Lord Krishna, the eighth avatar of Vishnu. This year Janmashtami is celebrated today on August 30. Today, as we celebrate the birth of Lord Krishna on Janmashtami, Bollywood celebrities have shared messages on social media, wishing fans on the auspicious occasion. While Amitabh Bachchan shared a picture of Lord Krishna on the occasion, Rakul Preet Singh posted a picture of herself to wish fans on Janmashtami.

Amitabh Bachchan shared a picture of Lord Krishna and wrote, “Sri Krishna Janmashtami ki hardik shubhkamnaye (sic).” Rakul Preet Singh shared her picture and wrote, ” Happy Janmashtami (sic).” Arjun Rampal wrote, “Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna…Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare…Wishing you a happy and blessed Krishna Janmashtami! #krishna #krishnajanmashtami (sic).” Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar also posted a wish on her twitter account and mentioned about the deadly virus Covid19 to come to an end. She wrote, “नमस्कार. आप सबको जन्माष्टमी की बहुत शुभकामनाएं। जो संकट विश्वपे मंडरा रहा है उसको प्रभु आप नष्ट कर दीजिए यही मेरी प्रार्थना. youtu.be/Tmxb51FFvRQ
