Janta Curfew: Salman Khan, Deepika Padukone, Aamir Khan and other celebs urge people to stay at home

PM Narendra Modi called for Janta curfew today (March 22) from 7 am to 9 pm to fight the spread of the novel Coronavirus. Only the people who provide us with the basic essential services are exempted from the curfew. Bollywood celebs who are already indoors are following Modi’s initiative and they are urging their fans to stay at their homes.

Celebs like Salman Khan, Deepika Padukone, Aamir Khan, Rishi Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh among others took to their social media handles to ask their fans to support this initiative by PM Modi.

Salman Khan took to his Instagram handle to thank the health professionals and police officials who have dedicated their time to fight with the virus. He also appealed to everyone to take this crisis seriously and asked not to spread fake news. “Yeh Zindagi Ka Sawaal Hai. Please do the needful,” said Salman in the video.

Aamir Khan tweeted, “Let’s all do ourselves a favour by staying at home tomorrow – Janta Curfew Day – and until such time as things settle down. Let’s pray for the safety of all those working day and night to keep the rest of us safe. Love. a.”
