Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan is all set to arrive at the box office in just a few days, with the advance booking having opened on September 1. It is just the third day since then and the film is performing exceedingly well. It is heading towards a earth-shattering opening as per the latest estimates.
Jawan advance booking update
As per a report in Sacnilk, Jawan has collected over Rs 12.17 crores in Hindi 2D, selling 4 lakh tickets. It has also sold 11.3 K tickets in Hindi IMAX, collecting Rs 78.58 lakhs more. As for the Tamil market, it has collected Rs 7.69 lakhs by selling over 5.5 K tickets. Thus far, the total pre-sale weekend advance stands at Rs 13.17 crores, selling over 4.26 lakh tickets.
Amongst this, almost half of the tickets are for day 1 advance. Over 2 lakh tickets have sold in the national multiplex chains PVR, INOX and Cinepolis for opening day. The total Jawan advance booking collection in India for Day 1 stands at Rs 7.85 crores.

Jawan release date
There are 4 more days left of advance booking, including Sunday before the film’s release. Jawan is expected to shatter records at box office. The Atlee directorial also features Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Sunil Grover and Ridhi Dogra alongside SRK. Deepika Padukone has a special role in the film as well. Jawan trailer was released on August 31, a day before the advance bookings opened, and created an uproar. The film releases theatrically in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on September 7, 2023.
