Jaya Bachchan had the quietest birthday this year, because of this reason

Veteran actress and wife of megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, who turned 69 on Sunday, opted for quiet birthday celebrations this year.

The whole of Bachchan clan in fact resolved to avoid all the celebrations and the reason was Aishwarya’s father’s recent demise. (Also Read: Abhishek Bachchan shares a lovely birthday wish for his mother Jaya Bachchan)

Confirms a family friend, “Because of Aishwarya’s father demise, there was no celebration, no party, not even a family get-together. Aishwarya is in Mangalore with Aaradhya for some rituals. Jaya was in Delhi, while Amitji was in Mumbai. Abhishek joined Ash in Mangalore. So, it was a very subdued birthday this time for Jaya with the family scattered in different cities.”

The former actress was in Delhi during her birthday and she spent some time with her daughter Shweta’s in-laws. “She likes her ‘alone’ time away from everyone, just reading, walking and gardening,” adds the source.

Aishwarya returned with Aaradhya to the city yesterday night, after completing a few rituals in Mangalore.
