Jaya Bachchan says ‘serves you right’ as paparazzo almost falls while taking her photos-WATCH

Media and celebrities have a love-hate relationship. While one can’t survive without the other, sometimes the media intrusion also becomes too much for the stars. While most celebrities maintain a good and cordial relationship with the media, especially the paparazzi, Jaya Bachchan is one of those stars who have never shied away from speaking their mind to the media. While she has appreciated them in the times they deserve, she has also lashed out at them at times. Another such incident occurred recently with her, when she used a very sarcastic language with the photographers.

The veteran actress attended the last day of the Lakme Fashion Week with her granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda, and as this duo was arriving at the location, the paprazzi rushed to take their pictures. The actress was seen in a pink salwar suit with Navya by her side and as they started clicking her, she questioned them what organisations they were from and for whom did they work. In the whole incident, one of the paprazzo suffered from a tumble in front of the actress, and she immediately reacted to it saying, “Serves you right.” She further went on to add, “I hope you double and fall.”

This isn’t the first time Jaya Bachchan has had a tiff of words with the media as the veteran actress is quite vocal about her opinions. Meanwhile, on the work front, she is heard on her granddaughter Navya’a podcast What The Hell Navya, alongside daughter Shweta Bachchan as well, and she also has Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt releasing next year.
