Jaya Prada REVEALS why she thought of committing suicide

Veteran actress Jaya Prada recently revealed that she had once thought of committing suicide when her doctored photos had gone viral on social media. Talking to news agency PTI, Jaya Prada opened up about rumours of her alleged affair with the expelled Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh, whom she considered her godfather.

Recalling days of depression, Jaya said that Amar Singh was on dialysis and her morphed pictures were being widely shared on the internet. “I was crying and saying I don’t want to live anymore, I want to commit suicide. I was going through that trauma and no one supported me,” Jaya Prada told the news agency.

Speaking at the Queensline Literature Festival held in Mumbai, Jaya said that people would continue to talk about her and Amar Singh’s relationship even though she tied him a rakhi.

“Only Amar Singh ji, who came out of his dialysis, stood next to me, supported me. What will you think of him? Godfather or someone else? Even if I tie rakhi to him, will people stop talking? I don’t care what people say,” she said.

Talking about Kangana Ranaut’s latest release ‘Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhanshi’, Jaya said, “Whatever they are showing in the film ‘Manikarnika’, I feel I was like that. A woman can also take the avatar of goddess Durga.”
