‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ first look: Ranveer Singh’s Gujarati avatar is on point

Ranveer Singh, who is known for taking challenges when it comes to portraying some of the most interesting roles on the silver screen is here with yet another project.

Ranveer has treated his fans with the much-awaited first look from his upcoming film, ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’. The actor will be seen portraying the role of a Gujarati man in this film, and he surely looks impressive in his quirky avatar.

Ranveer Singh who has been portraying some historical characters off late will now be playing the role of a common man after a long time. For this film, he had to lose weight and look a certain way. With his dressing sense, hairstyle and the way he is smiling in the first look, Ranveer’s Gujarati look is quite impressive.

From a very long time, Ranveer has been expressing his excitement for bagging ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’, and now we are looking forward to watching him in this YRF production.

Talking about the film, Ranveer told Hindustan Times, “As Charlie Chaplin once said, ‘To truly laugh, you must be able to take your pain, and play with it!’. Jayeshbhai is an unlikely hero – an ordinary man, who ends up doing something extraordinary when he’s hurled into a threatening situation. Jayeshbhai is sensitive and compassionate. He believes in equal rights between men and women in a society that is deeply rooted in patriarchal ideals, practices and doctrines.”
