Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, and Katrina Kaif starrer Jee Le Zaraa is HAPPENING, Farhan Akhtar scouts for locations in Rajasthan

Ever since Farhan Akhtar announced his upcoming film Jee Le Zaraa with Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif, fans have been sharing their excitement. Well, it’s been two years since Farhan announced the upcoming project. And now, finally, it looks like Priyanka, Katrina and Alia will start shooting for the upcoming film soon. Farhan, who is returning to the director’s chair, shared a picture of himself as he started scouting for locations in Rajasthan.

Farhan confirms Jee Le Zaraa is happening

Farhan shared a picture in which he stood in a desert. The picture showed him looking at a distance with his back to the camera. The actor-director kept it casual in a jacket, shorts and boots. He shared the pic along with the caption, “Searching for gold #locationscout #jeelezaraa #rajastan Image @ozajay.”

Reacting to Farhan’s post, Alia Bhatt commented, “Can’t waitttt.” Fans too shared their excitement.

Given that the film was announced two years ago, there have been several rumours around the film. Last year, during media interaction, Alia had assured fans that the film is happening. She had said, “IT’S HAPPENING!!… We will go on floors next year. Of course, we can not go on the floor this year. We ain’t letting that film go. We are fighting for it and we are all too excited about it. It’s going to be quite massive and we can’t wait.” For the uninitiated, Alia welcomed her first child, daughter Raha with Ranbir Kapoor last year.

In 2021, Farhan announced Jee Le Zaraa as Dil Chahta Hai completed 20 years of its release. Farhan had shared the announcement video along with the caption, “Did someone say road trip? Thrilled to announce my next film as director and what better day than 20 years of Dil Chahta Hai to do it. #JeeLeZaraa with @priyankachopra #KatrinaKaif @aliaa08 will commence filming in 2022 and I cannot wait to get this show on the road.”

Now that Farhan Akhtar has shared an update, fans can rejoice. Jee Le Zaraa is written by Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar, and Reema Kagti and co-produced by Tiger Baby Productions. Farhan is returning to director’s chair with his upcoming film. Farhan last directed Shah Rukh Khan starrer Don 2 – The King Is Back.
