Injured Shahid Kapoor hides face with a mask as he returns to the bay with wife Mira Rajput- watch video

Shahid Kapoor is prepping for his much-awaited next, ‘Jersey’. But looks like he has to face some hurdles before the movie is even complete. In the film, Shahid plays a cricketer. So while shooting for some portions on a cricket ground in Chandigarh the actor got hit by a leather ball on his face. Reportedly he received 13 stitches on his face. The actor recently returned to the city alongwith his wife Mira Rajput.

Surprisingly, Shahid was seen hiding his injury mark with a mask as he was snapped arriving at the Mumbai airport.

Shahid returned to Mumbai along with wife Mira as he had to leave ‘Jersey’ shoot halfway in Mohali. The actor suffered an injury on his face. Reportedly he was hit by a ball on his lip that split open.  While returning, he was spotted at the airport with his wife covering his face with a skull-print black and white mask. He was also sporting a hoodie so that his face could be hardly seen.

Shahid has a humongous fanbase and they have been sending him good wishes constantly to get well soon after reports of his injury got out. The actor responded to his concerned fans by posting, “Thank you for all the concern. Yes, I have got a few stitches but am recovering fast. #jersey has taken a little bit of my blood but a script this good deserves that in the least. Have a good one you all. Keep it real. Make it count. Spread the love. Humanity above all.(sic)”

Meanwhile, talking about the movie, ‘Jersey’ it also stars Mrunal Thakur opposite, Shahid. The film is scheduled to hit the silver screens on August 28, 2020.
