Jiah Khan Death Case Final Verdict: Sooraj Pancholi leaves for CBI court- WATCH

It’s a big day for Sooraj Pancholi and his family. After 10 years, a special CBI court will announce its final verdict in the Jiah Khan death case today. Actor Sooraj Pancholi was blamed for Jiah Khan’s death by her mother Rabia. This morning the actor was spotted leaving his residence for the CBI court.

Ahead of the Jiah Khan case verdict, Sooraj Pancholi gets spotted…

Sooraj was spotted with his team making his way towards his car, in a video. The Hero actor was dressed in a green shirt and denim jeans.

Zarina on her son being innocent…

Yesterday, Sooraj’s mother Zarina Wahab shared that she will be present in the court with her son. She called her son innocent. Zarina told ETimes that she can feel her son’s pain. She added, “I am not able to look into his eyes. I can feel what he is going through. And I feel helpless. I can’t say anything to him.”

Zarina added that the entire family has been waiting for ten years for the verdict.  She said, “I feel this has been a phase, a traumatic phase.” Adding to that, she said she’s confident that her son will get justice as he is innocent.

The actor has not yet reacted to it.

For the uninitiated, Sooraj Pancholi and Jiah Khan were in a brief relationship. After Jiah’s suicide in 2013, the Mumbai police arrested Sooraj under the charges of abetment to suicide. Reportedly, the late Bollywood actress Jiah Khan had written a suicide letter that put Sooraj under the scanner. CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) took over Jiah Khan’s death case in 2014.

The verdict will be announced today at 10.30 am in Mumbai.
