Jiah Khan’s death to be probed by Special Team

Bollywood actress Jiah Khan died under mysterious circumstances.   Jiah Khan was found hanging  at her residence on June 3 last year, following which Jiah’s mother claiming it as murder filed an FIR against Jiah’s boyfriend Sooraj Pancholi.

However, Sooraj was later released on  bail. Now fresh development in the Jiah Khan death case, Mumbai Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria assured to form a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the death mystery.

As per sources, Ever since the death of Jiah Khan, her mother Rabiya Khan has been claiming it to be a murder and has been accusing Jiah’s boyfriend Sooraj Pancholi . But therewere no constructive evidenceto prove it so Jiah’s mother Rabiya Khan along with her lawyer met with the Commissioner and put forward her grievances.

After the meeting, the lawyer said, “The Commissioner assured us that the case will be properly investigated by a special team and whoever may be the accused, he or she will be dealt with properly as well.”

Sources further added that, Commissioner Maria has confirmed  that he would form a SIT to check on the grievances and angles stated by Jiah’s mother. Rabiya Khan has been stressing on passing the case to CBI or any special team. Now with the assurance from the Commissioner himself, the hurt-broken mother can hope for some better result.
