Jibraan Khan has successfully transitioned from a child actor to a leading star with his recent role in Ishq Vishk Rebound. He is perhaps best known for his portrayal of Krishi, the son of Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan’s characters in the iconic 2001 family drama Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. Yesterday, on Azaad’s screen Jibraan Khan was seen rushing to hug Kajol, his mother from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.

On Thursday evening, a pap shared a delightful video from the premiere of Abhishek Kapoor’s historical action film Azaad. The actor looked stylish on the red carpet. He was dressed in a black t-shirt, blue denim jeans, and a black leather jacket.
While posing for photos, Jibraan Khan spotted Kajol arriving and immediately rushed over to greet her with a warm hug. The two shared a brief conversation before going their separate ways. Kajol donning a chic cape-style top and pants for the event.
The Film and Its Cast
Azaad also features Kajol’s husband, Ajay Devgn. It marks the debut of his nephew Aaman Devgan and Rasha Thadani, the daughter of actress Raveena Tandon. This period drama, set in pre-Independence India, was released in theatres on January 17. Other notable celebrities in attendance at the premiere included Ajay Devgn, Tamannaah Bhatia, Arbaaz Khan with his wife Sshura Khan. Social media influencer Orhan Awatramani (aka Orry), and producer Anand Pandit were also present.
Jibraan’s career journey
Jibraan is the son of actor Firoz Khan, famously known for his role as Arjuna in BR Chopra’s epic TV series Mahabharat. He began his acting career as a child in Shakeel Noorani’s film Bade Dilwala (1999) and has since appeared in various films, including Kyo Kii Main Jhuth Nahin Bolta (2001) alongside Govinda and Sushmita Sen, and Rishtey (2002) featuring Anil Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor. His latest project, Ishq Vishk Rebound, serves as a spiritual sequel to Ishq Vishk(2003).
As for Kajol, she will next be seen in the film Maharagni.
