Jimmy Shergill is all set to reunite with Kangana Ranaut in ‘Mental Hai Kya’

We all loved Jimmy Shergill’s endearing chemistry with the power-house performer Kangana Ranaut in Aanand  L Rai’s ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ and its sequel ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’. Apart from this romantic drama, they also shared screen space in Abhinay Deo’s action-thriller ‘Game’.

Now, according to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Jimmy Shergill is all set to reunite with Kangana Ranaut in Prakash Kovelamudi’s psychological thriller ‘Mental hai Kya’. Talking about collaborating with Kangana all over again the actor told Mirror, “Kangana is one of the finest actresses we have today. We understand each other’s space as actors and also get nostalgic sometimes.”

Sharing about working with filmmaker Prakash Kovelamudi for the first time, Jimmy said,”Prakash is a really nice guy and fun to be around. When prodded about how he chooses his films, Jimmy said “I take my chances, I’m not super choosy as people think, the film just has to interest me in some way. Main mazdoor aadmi hoon, I work everyday.”

Apart from ‘Mental Hai Kya’, Jimmy Shergill will also be seen in ‘Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster 3’ and ‘Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi’. Talking about reprising his roles in these popular franchise the actor said, “Happy Phir Bhag Jayegi is a crazy, on-the-run film and it was great working with Sanju Baba again, only this time he wasn’t Munna Bhai but the gangster. Like the Tanu sequels, they were great fun to make. I’d just land up on the set, not thinking too much about the role as I have lived many such characters over the years.”
