John Abraham announces Satyameva Jayate 2 release date; sends across Republic Day wishes

On the occasion of the 72nd Republic Day of the nation, the makers of the John Abraham starrer Satyameva Jayate 2 have made an official announcement of the film’s release date. John too, took to his social media handles to give the great news to his fans. John Abraham’s Satyameva Jayate 2 will have a theatrical release on Eid i.e on May 14, 2021. The movie will clash with Salman Khan’s Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai that will also release at the same time.

John took to his Twitter account to share the official release date of Satyameva Jayate 2. The tweet read, “TANN MANN DHANN, se Badhkar JANN GANN MANN! The team of #SatyamevaJayate2 wishes everyone a Happy Republic Day! See you in cinemas this EID on 14th May 2021”

In September last year, John had announced that Satyameva Jayate 2 will be an Eid release this year. He had unveiled a new poster of the movie and written, “Jis desh ki maiyya Ganga hai, wahan khoon bhi Tiranga hai! #SatyamevaJayate2 in cinemas on 12th May, EID 2021. #SMJ2EID2021 @divyakhoslakumar @milapzaveri @onlyemmay @madhubhojwani @nikkhiladvani #BhushanKumar #KrishanKumar @tseriesfilms @tseries.official @emmayentertainment @dabbooratnani @houseofaweindia (sic).”

Apart from John Abraham, the film also stars Divya Khosla Kumar and it has been directed by Milap Zaveri. This will not be the first time John will have a theatrical clash with a movie.  In 2019, his film Batla House clashed with Akshay Kumar’s Mission Mangal as they both were Independence Day releases.
